Everything Old Is New Again


I loved this post-it-note dress by Tom Ford for Gucci during its first go-round in September 2001.

And now Fendi, in September 2008, has released its version in this ad, which even adapts the lovely Ms. Evangelista’s hair style.


The post-it notes are a little curlier this time, though . . . as if they’re vintage postmodern.

    You know how I love Ms. E. But I saw her on some TV thing the other night (just flipping by). It was some audience-filled show and she was speaking about Bryan Adams. And I have to say she was so vapid seeming it was painful. I'd never heard her speak (or watched her speak, for that matter). Wow, I wish I hadn't seen it.
