At the risk of seeming redundant, here they are, together for the first time, so we can all have a good ponder.
A gray day never looked so tempting.
Jil Sander's Hitchcockian cool, with postmodern architectural elements.
Bottega Veneta: soft yet authoritative.
Faux feathery fur (or faux furry feathers?) by Burberry Prorsum. Divine with argyle.
I love that Jil Sander dress - beautiful.
ReplyDeleteafter enc's Jill Sander post I couldn't take them off my mind. Now here the grey dress is lifting my desire to a higher level.
ReplyDeleteBottega Veneta is just as tempting but I will have to go for the Hitchcockian cool.
Jill Sander makes my heart beat just that little bit faster.
ReplyDeleteThe Jil Sander is gorgeous.
ReplyDeletemiss cav, you have the best taste. And every time I read one of your posts, I learn something new, and have my eyes opened to something I didn't know about.
ReplyDeleteI'm not even a fur gal and I love that last one! The socks make it.
I am not usually a lover of grey--but Jil Sander has converted me.
ReplyDeleteSo far everyone's loving the Jill--and with good reason. I think that enc and I have collectively posted about this dress some three times. Surely that qualifies for some sort of group discount, no?
ReplyDeleteOh let's hope for a group discount. I'm considering entering serious debt over that Sander frock ... and have been for weeks.
ReplyDeletei love the idea of dressing in grey...i just wonder if i'd want to keep the neutral tones, or add in a pop of color.
ReplyDeleteI am wearing grey for the first time this season tomorrow and cannot wait. That Sander dress is just stunning! Though I am sure not as stunning as any of the foufy dresses Miss Adele wore. :)
ReplyDeleteKilling majority - the Jill Sander took my heart! Bottega Veneta looks worn backwards ;)
ReplyDeletei'm a sucker for postmodern architectural elements, so the first dress is to die for!
ReplyDeleteI too had spotted Jil Sander's wonderful silhouettes! Love them.
ReplyDeleteSadly enough Burberry is well know for promoting fur, by the way. Sad.
Mary-Laure, The Burberry truly isn't fur, though. It's a whisper thin silky something. I'm not a fur wearer either . . .
ReplyDeleteThe Jil Sander dress is fabulous. Everytime I see "Burberry Prorsum", I read "Burberry Possum". The joys of getting old...
ReplyDeleteBurberry Possum sounds charming--reminds me of Dame Edna . . .
