Shoe Roundup

Sure, we associate Givenchy with the elfin chic of Audrey Hepburn, but take a look at these skyscrapers that are perfect for stalking about concrete cities.

And I recently found this self portrait of Manolo Blahnik. What a vamp! (But at least he’s not a heel . . .)

You shoe-dn't show us such tempting shoes. . Sorry, that's really bad, and no match to your punning ability at all. And really, I can't be tempted by those heels 'cause they're way too high for me -- but that top shoe, seriously a great shoe -- texture, sculpture, attitude -- it's really got it all! ( well, okay, maybe not comfort, but that's so overrated)

Materfamilias, I truly am in dismay as heels climb higher and higher. Three inches, I can do, but with four, I'm teetering. For courage, I visit Jak and Jil's blog and look at all those long legs in high heels. I'd like to see a little video, though. One's stride *must* be considerably shortened.

Those look beautiful. I've been admiring the Givenchy accessories lately.

I'm in love with Givenchy these days. It's inspiring me to rethink my usual prim and proper aesthetic.

enc, every so often a house will do something utterly new and delightful, n'est pas?

Thumbelina, Your feet can always be an edgy complement to the prim and proper rest of your ensemble ;-) .

Now I love a heel and they are truly heels - gorgeous and who cares whether we can walk or not, that is just not the point! xv

They will make my butt tight for sure. Yes I wouldn't expect mr. Blahnik to be pushing my butt.
