Who Was that Masked Woman?

In case you think my mask idea is madness, take a look at the new J Peterman catalogue. Masks are the new chic!

This would truly be a fun way to enhance my teaching persona -- by donning it before class! We could start a pedagogical movement. Or perhaps for the next conference paper?

I could use one for bad-skin days.

Reminds me of the movie, "Eyes Wide Shut" where they have that weird sex party and all the naked women and men are wearing carnival masks. I guess it is sort of erotic.

J Peterman mentioned the name of that film in his blurb. (I thought the movie was dreadful; what about you?) I like to think of masquerades as being more about witty banter and fabulously eccentric clothes that stay on during a soiree!

Any movie starring Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise was bound to be a disaster. To wit, "Far and Away" and "Days of Thunder." Blech.
