Knuckleheads a la McQueen; or, Pun for the Road

Alexander McQueen’s tiny clutches are finally available stateside; you may recall that I blogged about this one last year.

I still like it, but I’ve moved on to the clutch pictured here.

McQueen calls it a knuckle duster; I prefer “Knucklehead(s).”

Isn’t that what Lucy used to call her long-suffering brother, Charlie Brown?

But do check out the price of this clutch; it isn’t offered for Peanuts.

Oh, I do believe I'm in love.

And actually, I think she called them "blockheads." But maybe "knuckleheads," too!

Sal is, of course, right! Oh well, poetic license, you know. And wasn't Sal-ly the little sister's name?!

It really gives you something to clutch onto.

Just don't use the brass knuckles part in a fight. You can get in some serious trouble. I have a weird story about that (I wasn't involved!) that I can't tell on the internets.

that's such a creative idea, I never thought to use those rings on a clutch! It's very cute, I'd just be afraid I would dwarf such a small bag! Might be worth it though...

McQueen makes the most beautiful dark, quirky things. The clutches are superb.
