Garden of the Month at Chanel

Every spring and summer there's a "garden of the month" award given to the prettiest gardens in our town.

Mr. C and I always laugh because our tangle of leaves and vines is not a realistic candidate.

But lately we've been thinking that the poppies I planted in the front yard are surprisingly pretty:

Although it's February, I award "garden of the month" to Chanel, who, in this beautifully framed ad, captures the promise of spring in one stunning poppy.

Well, iceland poppies are a late winter - early spring flower so as long as you don't have snow they will bloom. Another late winter -early spring flower is the pansy. I used to see them sneaking out of the frost at my mother-in-law's home in Switzerland.
You have a very lovely home.

Oh lovely poppies and lovely Chanel pick - I love this collection and to be honest I've never loved a collection by Kaiser Karl for Chanel before, I've liked a few but this one, those ads oh heavenly x

Your house is absolutely lovely, my dear.

I must say, that Chanel ad looks as if it were painted. Gorgeous.

The house ALONE should get an award. It took my breath away, Miss Cav!

The house, of course, is not my doing. It's been around since 1874!
