Glitz is not my thing; can't abide the word "bling"; have avoided Swarovski crystals for years;* prefer matte to shiny.
But this bag by Prada, with its unabashedly glitzy jeweled clasp, has caught my eye.
Is it the cloudy-day leather?
No, because I also like the bag in white (perhaps even more):
It must just be another instance of that old cliche coming to life: something about a woman's prerogative.
(And by the way, I don't like cliches either.)
*Full disclosure: I do have one thin gray crystal barette for pinning back my fringe.

I like the way our taste changes. It would be boring if it never did.
I agree with Wendy!
I have had some surprising likes of late, but prefer to think my taste reshapes rather than changes. I take some comfort in believing that I know what I like. Sometimes it's the only thing I can rely on.
I think you had gems hiding under your jil sander severe(ish) look all your years;-)
Would you invest in a Prada? I have a Bottega Veneta and am now addicted to fine craftspersonship.
I'm not much into bling anywhere, but that bag is beautiful.
My daughter, who turned four over the weekend, could not live without it. If I'd allow it, she'd glow in the dark.
Would love to see that barette. ;-)
