Mr. Darcy's Wet-Sea-Shirt Sculpture

Move over, Nessie; there's a new monster in town.

OMG where is this and can I swim too?

BTW, I saw a copy of Selvedge magazine--the first time I've seen it not on your blog (because I don't live in an artsy cosmopolis)--and immediately thought of you. Of course, I was thinking of you already because I was at the Textile Museum in DC (where I'm also being a good fellow at the Folger), which had a lovely small exhibit but, sadly, was in the midst of a move to GWU and so was mostly closed. Great gift shop, though.

He looks good for 200. Is (or has) Miss C doing anything regarding the P & P bicentennial?

DM, Mr. Darcy is on a tour of various lakes in the UK. He's been in the Hyde park Serpentine, for instance, but has other stops to make, most memorably the lake where the original wet-sea-shirt scene was filmed for the movie. Hope you liked what you saw in Selvedge!

GSL, I haven't considered doing anything for the bicentennial; perhaps I should put on my thinking bonnet . . .
