From Alexander McQueen's Final Collection

These exquisite looks, from Alexander McQueen's final show, seem to be made for a postmodern medieval faery.

That first gown is could be worn by an angel in a Renaissance painting. Lovely

Make that an evil postmodern medieval faery and I am right there with you.
I love how theatrical these clothes are.

My daughters and I watched the original Snow White the other night, and I think that the gorgeous cape above would suit the evil queen very nicely. Good call, Miriam!

Glorious and yes I spent the summer in the Tate Britain and once with Mr McQueen (purely by chance)

To have the presence of a caped queen for a day is all fairytale for me. The craftsmanship is miraculous. It leads the eye perfectly through the fabric's surface.
