. . . To a T

I declare that T, the NYT fashion magazine, is rapidly becoming the intellectual fashionista’s magazine of choice.

Its photos, features, and even its ads (Vera Wang from my previous post) are feasts for the eye and the mind.

However, I could have done without multiple photos of Marc Jacobs gazing hungrily? longingly? lustily? at enceinte Elodie Bouchez’s cleavage.

I love that cover, but yes, we could all do without Marc Jacobs gazing at anyone's cleavage. It's not really believable, is it?

Of course, the minute I read this I had to seek out the pics. Oooh, there's something so creepy about this shoot. And - don't misunderstand, I am not prudish about a pregnant woman's sexuality - but those shots of Ms. Bouchez seemed somewhat lewd.

I am so angry about NYTimes here in Spain. I wanted to buy it last week, and it was 18 euros!!! can you imagine????? it's impossible!that was last saturday, and the newspaper was from the last week, so, 7 days later and 18 euros

Hi all--I don't see much of a "wink" in these photos. Jacobs, with his overdyed hair and overly buff bod, seems to be playing it straight. And lewd is a good word for this shoot.

As for the outrageous price of NYT in Spain--oh my! Internet reading of the Times doesn't bring the same pleasure, but at least it's not comparable in price.

Ugh, I'm scarred for life by those Marc Jacob pictures. He looks like such a meth-faced muscle queen.

Wendy, I appreciate you telling it like it is. You are fearless with your language! ;)

yes, he looks creepy, his dye job needs some touch up work, and isn't he wearing the necklace from the Neverending Story??

Wow--it's been so long since I've seen that film, though the theme song has come hurtling back into my brain. I'll take your word for it!
