I confess: I rip items out of magazines while at the salon.Yesterday I went in for some pre-fall maintenance—a little color to complement my salt-water blonde highlights, a slightly shorter sideswept fringe—and paged through Lucky magazine.
These cage shoes by Klub Nico immediately caught my eye. I don’t know how they’d look in person—cool or cheesy—but I’m tempted. I’d like to see them with some opaque black tights for fall and winter.

now I find out the name of this design then. Wittner from Australia released that design here months ago. You will see it in the site below.. you might have to scroll a bit in product section.

that design is much more chunky then the one in your post tho. since it's a strong design it might be better to go with more 'chunkiness' maybe?

Songy, Thanks for showing me the Wittner site! I did see many a chunky/funky cage shoe there. I tried a chunky platform Chie Mihara gladiator this spring and it was a little too much for me. I *wanted* it to work, but something less strong--though not delicate--was my preference. But I certainly support chunky cages on others!
i just read my Lucky last night and LOVED these caged shoes (the name scared me at first, now i'm obsessed). i love the ones you posted and think they'd look fabulous with some opaque tights. xxx
I was just talking to someone about how guilty I feel ripping things out of 5-year-old magazines at the doctor's office or salon!
