Thanksgiving Colors: The Red and White Edition

In the spirit of Canadian Thanksgiving, I’ve been thinking about red and white combinations . . .

Below is some embroidered vintage linen from the online shop Beyond France:

And above is the cover to Susannah Frankel’s Visionaries.

Happy Thanksgiving to all literal and honorary Canadians!

The dress and the linen are both so sweet and romantic.

And to you too. Do you celebrate today in some small way?

I'm actually making a quick turkey breast with stuffing and cranberry sauce for dinner; will make a proper pumpkin pie in November!

Happy Thanksgiving! Apparently, we have Columbus Day here in the US, and I completely forgot... I thought it was a little weird I had no work and no appointments...!

I love that dress, but it might be a little overwhelming to wear for a printophobe like myself. :(

I wish I could see a clearer shot of the dress -- like what it looks like when she's standing up.
