Indeed, I am late to this film, but truly, I am content not being “on trend”: avant or après are (oddly?) preferable.
What were my favorite parts: the seamstresses (with the accent on stress); the pugs on a plane;
the handsome young man with shoulder-length blonde hair who showed up twice sans introduction (no, not Lapo Elkmann); and the floating dresses—in red and avec balloon.
In fact, the fonts on the balloon were really quite, umm, uplifting, and I was delighted to find the (far) above image for my gallery. Has anyone else seem the film?

I'm a great fan of Valentino... his designs always seemed genuine not contrived. One of these days am going watch this film along with "The September Issue". I'm running quite apres on these fashion films.
I've been wanting to see this film, but never seem to get around to it. If not for anything else, then at least for all the puggies (five or six?).
Those pugs are too adorable!!!
Loved the film, met the director out here at a special screening, he knew nothing about fashion going into the movie! btw did you see the dancers costumes on the Live from Vienna New Years Celebration? All designed by Valentino, magnifico!
